p.s.  ...egy olyan szervíz, ahová bátran bejelentkezhet az, akinek SMART autója van... igaz, hogy izzócserére ugrottam ki az Üllői út 553. szám alá, de egy röpke pillanat alatt, a kocsi átvizsgálása után minden felmerülő probléma javítva lett... szokásomhoz híven közben fotózgattam és nyomtam a szöveget egyfolytában... így derült ki, hogy apa és fia együtt dolgoznak évek óta, nagyszerű, korrekt szakemberek... jó volt ezt megtapasztalni! ... Bravo!

"Swimsuit adverts are often highly sexualized, but as you can see from these stunning pictures, they don’t have to be. Nor do they have to feature young models, as Yazemeenah Rossi proves. You wouldn’t believe it to look at her, but the model, visual artist, and self-portrait photographer is in fact 61-years-old.

The photographs below are part of a campaign for a swimsuit collaboration between online shop The Dreslyn and a lingerie house called Land of Women. According to Brooke Taylor Corcia, founder of Dreslyn, the purpose of the collection was to veer away from the hyper-sexualized imagery of existing swimwear lines. She decided to choose Malibu, California-based Rossi as their model of choice because, as she said to Huffpost, “This is a woman who radiates health and vitality. She’s confident, she’s a visual artist, she takes care of herself. [This line is] all about being a person who’s well-lived and well-traveled and has intelligence and confidence, and letting that shine through.”

Sylvia Plachy

Plachy, a Hungarian-born photographer, immigrated to the United States with her parents in 1958, started photographing in 1964 and over the next forty years by recording the visual character of the city along with its diverse occupants managed the not insignificant accomplishment of becoming essential to the New York photography scene.

One of her enduring subjects has been her son, Oscar winner, Adrien Brody. "From the time he was born, Adrien was my favorite subject to photograph. I couldn't take my eyes off him. Here was this vibrant little being; his emotions mirrored in his face," said Plachy.

Andre Kertesz, her mentor, friend and compatriot said of her work, "I have never seen the moment sensed and caught on film with more intimacy and humanity." (forrás)
