C'est la saison des pommes, alors on en profite pour se régaler avec ce gâteau ultra gourmand du chef Lignac. Sa texture est juste parfaite, on sent bien le goût des pommes, celui de la vanille, franchement, on se régale. J'ai apporté quelques modifications dans la recette en réduisant la quantité de beurre et de sucre, mais je vous explique tout dans la vidéo. Petite astuce pour donner à votre gâteau ce bel aspect brillant, il me restait une cuillère de jus de cuisson des pommes avec laquelle j'ai badigeonné mon gâteau à la sortie du four. J'espère que ce gâteau aux pommes vous régalera autant que nous. Bonne dégustation !!! After nearly 25 years of operation, DPReview will be closing in the near future. This difficult decision is part of the annual operating plan review that our parent company shared earlier this year.

The site will remain active until April 10, and the editorial team is still working on reviews and looking forward to delivering some of our best-ever content.

Everyone on our staff was a reader and fan of DPReview before working here, and we’re grateful for the communities that formed around the site.

Incredible sad. Dpreview was big time responsible for learning about photography and buying the right gear.

I would like to use this opportunity in order to express my gratefulness to dpreview staff for their terrific work. I have been reading the articles and forum comments for more than a decade and I have to say that rarely have I ever seen a place as informative, supportive, objective and entertaining as this one.

It's been a perfect mixture of photography and photographic gear, of world-class sophisticated testing and reviewing and innumerable user-input.

Now, closing of dpreview will certainly not be the world's end but I wholeheartedly wish the soon to be former dpreview staff all the very best and excellent and satisfying career opportunities.

p.s... abban biztos voltam, hogy nagy hatással lesz Rám a Lenny Kravitz (amerikai énekes-dalszerző, multiinstrumentalista, zenei producer, színész és rendező) személyes találkozásunk. Mikor meghallottam a hangját váratlanul, ahogy elhaladtam a Wiener Stadthalle mellett, délután fotózás közben, megértettem a rajongásomat, az az erő, tökéletesség, igazi emberi érték, szeretet, nemcsak az egész koncert alatt volt érezhető... Andy Warhol (1928-1987)

I’m a self confessed ocean and travel lover. About 9 years ago, I quit my corporate job in sales and marketing, I took the leap and chased a dream. I’ve now been on the tools (of the camera variety) since. I create both photo and video for brands in both travel and lifestyle spaces all over the world. But I’m also known to create for anyone with an interesting project too. From time to time I’ll even share some sponsored stuff here on the gram too. But I’m pretty picky with who I work with. In general, the rule for me is I gotta love the project or think others would really benefit from it if I’m going to share it here. I also run my own print/frame store @oceanfeelsco where people can have a piece of my art for their own space. So far, it’s been one of the most rewarding things I ever did. Knowing people from all over the world, enjoy my art enough to have it on their walls is just insane. I’m also looking to open a gallery in the future where people could come and visit. But more on that another day. I’m a father of 3 beautiful little girls and married to the girl of my dreams. We live in Sydney at the moment, but we love exploring new places and are in the process of changing a few things too. Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002)

“I’m following a course that was chosen for me, following a pressing need to show that a woman can work on a monumental scale.” Niki de Saint Phalle “I accidentally stumbled across Niki de Saint Phalle’s exhibition in London, back in 1985. It may have been the commonality in name that drew me in, mixed with my interest in the arts, either way, her style and colourful artworks definitely ‘wowed’ me. Now, revisiting her work and life (online), I was saddened to learn that she passed away in 2002 (aged 72). l had no idea at the time, but this would have made her around 55 when I popped into that gallery.
