'Since 1989, I have been living alternately between Saint-Tropez and Budapest. In the 20th century, I worked as a famous model in Budapest, Hungary. I traveled the world with my Canon camera. I liked to freeze special moments, famous people, landscapes, events, street photography. I fell in love with photography, which gave me a special way of life after 14 years of modeling. At first, I learned photography as a self-taught photographer, and then my son, Viktor de Hegyessy, who graduated from the cinematography department of the ELTE Film Academy, helped me a lot to overcome the technical obstacles, filmmaking, film editing, retouching. 2021-2022. season, I was gallery manager at the Art Deco News Saint-Tropez Gallery. This is where I fell in love with Digital Art, POP Art, Modern Art contemporary.

• A consistent speed through the plastic has been achieved using the parachute anchor configuration, therefore, solving our main technical challenge with Wilson
• However, the technology is not proven yet, as overtopping needs to be addressed before the plastic is effectively retained in the system

The Ocean Cleanup’s mission is to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. Our starting point for this is the Great Pacific Garbage Patch; the largest accumulation zone of plastic in the world. Doing so is tricky because 1) even though the patch contains north of 80 million kg of plastic, it is spread out over a massive area, three times the size of France or twice the size of Texas, and 2) the patch is remote (the center is five times further away from land than the altitude of the International Space Station), making vessels extremely expensive to run.

The solution, therefore, requires us to 1) concentrate the plastic before harvesting, and 2) limit vessel use by designing the cleanup systems to operate autonomously for long stretches of time. Compare the function of the cleanup system to a rake in a large lawn full of leaves. To clear the lawn, one could pick up the leaves one by one, which would take forever, or one could use a rake to ... (source/forrás!)

Egy görögországi utazás során merült fel az akkor még csak tizenhat éves Boyan Slatban egy ártatlannak tűnő kérdés: mi lenne, ha az óceán öntisztító, vagy legalább részben megtisztítható lenne? Nyolc évvel, 31 millió dollárral és számos prototípussal később Slat és az általa megálmodott Ocean Cleanup projekt úgy néz ki, valóban megoldást talál egy égető problémára: az óceánban egyre halmozódó, lebegő műanyaghulladék begyűjtésére és újrahasznosítására.
