A kórusról:
A Campion Singers az ascoti (Anglia) St. Mary’s leányiskola hivatalos kórusa.
A kórus Campion Davenport nővér után kapta a nevét. A nővér a St. Mary’s Iskola zenei igazgatója volt 1924 és 1947 között. Tehetséges zongorista volt, aki számos gyönyörű liturgikus darabot komponált kifejezetten a lányok hangjára.
A kórus a vasárnapi illetve a hétköznapi miséken énekel, további karácsonyi és egyéb koncerteket ad a tanév idején. Heti négyszer próbálják el műveiket; melyek egyaránt egyházi és világi darabok.
A kórus az iskolán kívül is fellép, legutóbbi fellépéseik helyszíne a teljesség igénye nélkül: Reading Crown Court megnyitó, London, Velence, Padova.

Pour l’état civil, Jean-Philippe Smet est né le 15 juin 1943. Non pas dans la rue, comme il le prétendit en mai 1969 dans une chanson écrite par son impayable planton des années Golf-Drouot, Long Chris, mais sur un lit de camp dressé à la hâte dans un couloir de la clinique Marie-Louise, située au numéro 3 de la cité Malesherbes, dans le IXe arrondissement de Paris. Son père, Léon, aurait été présent à l’accouchement. Il ne le reverra plus pendant des décennies. Quant à la rumeur selon laquelle, le jour de sa naissance, un scarabée serait mort («je le porte autour de mon cou», chantera-t-il même un moment en mode hippie-biker), comme le rapporte le même Long Chris dans son Voyage au pays des vivants (face B du single Que je t’aime), elle prête encore aujourd’hui largement à controverse. Jean-Philippe Smet est mort le 6 décembre 2017 d'un cancer du poumon, a annoncé son épouse, Læticia Hallyday, dans un communiqué. (forrás)
