© 'FREE' or '55Dollar' this is a question... [... it is a scam... ?!?!]







Izgalommal telt az időszak, míg a fotókat kiválasztottam erre a pályázatra és feltöltöttem pontosan az utólsó pillanatban határidőre a see.me oldalára. A szavazás és kommentek, mind hatalmas élményt nyújtottak számomra és örömmel olvastam el mindegyiket. Az időmről nem is beszélve, amit ezzel eltöltöttem. A válaszokat ugyan olyan szeretettel írtam, mint ahogy kaptam a véleményeket. Meglepő módon nem kellett nevezési díjat fizetni, ami eddig ezen az oldalon még sosem volt.

Kicsit furcsának is tartottam ezt, de korrektnek. Sosem értettem azt, hogy miért kell a művésznek fizetni azért, hogy az alkotásait később kiállitsák vagy talán könyv vagy más formában megjelentessék. Normálisan ez fordítva van. El is könyveltem, hogy ez az oldal úgy látszik tényleg odafigyel a művészekre, megváltoztatta üzletpolitikáját és igazán a 'gyémántot'..., a kincset keresik, ami másoknak is az örömére lesz és megmarad az utókornak. Tegnap kaptam egy emailt, de azt nem vettem észre, csak miután kaptam egyet ma  is  a 'Founder of SeeMe'-tól, hogy nyomatékosabb legyen és hihetőbb, ha már a 'Director of Community' emailjére nem reagáltam. Mindkét levél lent található. A lényeg, hogy kiválasztották az egyik fotómat, (ott fent látható), de ahhoz, hogy bemutatásra kerüljön be kell fizetnem 55 Dollárt. Akkor most kérdezem én, miért hirdették azt, hogy ez teljesen 'FREE' (ingyenes)pályázat, ha itt a 'finish'-ben meg mégiscsak fizetni kell érte. Érdekes mód pont akkor, amikor már szerintem kevés ember tud nemet mondani. Nálam a hitelét veszítette sajnálatos módon ez az egész szépnek igérkező 'játék' és becsapva érzem magam. Nem az 55 Dollár miatt, mert az nem egy összeg, persze biztosan akad olyan, akinek igen. Az meg azért bánkódik, hogy nem teheti meg!  Gyanakvó lettem, sajnos van már tapasztalatom. Bizony, ez az érzésem itt is megerősödött. Talán kihasználják az emberek hiszékenységét, főleg azt, hogy ha már annyi munkát, időt fektetett ebbe, akkor már szeretné végig vinni! A nevezési összeg annyira nevetséges, hogy kár lenne kihagyni, gondolják majd sokan.

  • Lesznek olyanok,  akik szintén nem fizetik be a megjelölt összeget, abban biztos vagyok. Pontosan azért, amiért én, de lesznek, akik bizony abban bíznak, hogy a fotójuk majd  másoknak is  örömet szerez vagy egyszerüen, csak az elismerés miatt, hogy a kiállitásra beteszik az alkotásukat, ha egyáltalán... minden esetre a Louvre porgramjai között én és még egy páran, akik keresték, nem találták a megjelölt napon az eseményt... Nagyon szerettem volna, ha a fotóm a 'LOUVRE'-ban bemutatásra került volna, akár digitális formában is. Nem tartom tisztességesnek a fentieket! Így köszönöm a lehetőséget, de én ebből kimaradok. Így döntöttem ma, miután megerősítést kaptam a fiamtól, aki elolvasta az alapító úr emailjét és már az első mondatban nyelvtani hibát talált, ami nem jellemző egy komoly pályázatra és az sem, hogy fizetni kell érte... ebben az egészben azért az a sok vélemény, hozzászólás és szavazás igazán nagyszerü volt, egy hatalmas élmény, köszönöm! ...ennyi!

    The fifth Annual Exposure Award has come to a close. Your entry earned 60 of the 100 votes needed to be included in the digital display at the Louvre. Although you didn't reach 100 votes, you have one final chance to be included in The Exposure Award.

    You have until Tuesday at Midnight to upgrade your submission and be eligible for the Grand Prize Exposure Award, offering a $15,000 cash grant, a dream weekend in Paris and more.

    You will also be included in the digital display with other photographers representing nearly every nation on earth premiering at the Louvre museum. Your work will also be viewable in a special online presentation premiering July 13th and continuing throughout the year.

    Answers to frequently asked questions:

    • When will the judging be finished? Judging will continue in three rounds through June 23rd.
    • Can I still be eligible for the Grand Prize? Yes, because your image has been selected for the second round you can upgrade your portfolio to be eligible for the $15,000 Grand Prize by clicking here.
    • Can I change my image or the collection that I'm featured in? No, sorry, the selected image is at the sole discretion of our jury panel. Our panel selects images that they feel will show best at the live event, in print and in the online exhibition. If you are selected as the Grand Prize winner, we will work with you to craft a portfolio of your best work to show the world.
    • When will the online display be live? It will be launched July 13th at the Louvre, and then made publicly viewable immediately after that. This is when the big promotion begins!
    • Will I be able to attend the event in Paris? Invites to the reception at the Louvre are extremely limited and will be offered to select SeeMe Pro-Members, press, and The Exposure Award Winner.
    • Will I be able to see photos from the event in Paris?Yes, we will be posting photos live to our Instagram account and will post an album full of photos to our Facebook page.
    • If I'm featured in a book, will there be an opportunity to buy it?Yes, you will be able to download the full digital version of the book for free or buy the print book from our publishing partner.
