On October 21, 1959, three thousand people waited in line to be the first to visit the Guggenheim Museum. Sixty years later, we invite you to celebrate our history of radical art and architecture. Visit on the 21st for a variety of special programming, become a member to attend our 60th Anniversary Celebration, and when the sun goes down make sure to take a look at the New York City skyline to see the Empire State Building lit up to celebrate our anniversary.
