"HFPA ARCHIVES

The first awards presentation for distinguished achievements in the film industy granted by Hollywood Foreign Correspondents Association - the precursor of today's Hollywood Foreign Press Association - took place in early 1944 with an informal ceremony at 20th Century Fox. There, Jennifer Jones was awarded Best Actress honors for The Song of Bernadette, which also won for Best Film, while Paul Lukas took home Best Actor laurels for Watch on the Rhine. Awards were presented in the form of scrolls.

The following year, the members of the association held a contest to find a design for a statuette that would best represent the overall aims of the organization. Marina Cisternas, president of the group in 1945-46, presented the idea fof a shiny globe on a cylindrical pedestal, to represent the world,.

In conjunction with the Golden Globes presentation, the Hollywood Foreign Correspondents Association held its first gala social event in 1945 with a formal banquet at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Going My Way won for Best Picture, while Ingrid Bergman and Alexander Knox were named Best Actress and Best Actor for their performances in The Bells of St. Mary and President Wilson, respectively.

There have been other important landmarks in the history of the Golden Globes. In 1951 the association decided to divide the best film, actor and actress nominees into two categories -- drama, and musical or comedy -- so that no genre would be slighted. In 1952, the HFPA created the Cecil B. DeMille Award to recognize “outstanding contribution to the entertainment field.” The award’s first recipient was DeMille himself." (FORRÁS)

Prológus XX-XXI. századok közötti időutazásom a fotóim és a filmjeim által. A kezdetektől kiemeltem a főbb állomásaimat a hatalmasat fejlődő világunkból, amit megtapasztaltam az életem során. 1955. születésem is már egy olyan pillanat, ami meghatározta a sorsomat, de a csoda váratott magára 1986. de Hegyessy Viktor László fiam születéséig. 1978-1994. Büszke vagyok arra, hogy részese lehettem sikeres fotómodell- manökenként a 'Magyar Divatvilág Aranykorának', ami évek mulásával legendás, napjainkra már történelemmé változott. 2006. évtől a fényképezőgép másik oldalára kerültem, 'de Hegyessy Viktor László' (iMDb US filmmaker) fiamnak köszönhetően, aki az ELTE Operatőri Szakán elsajátította, megerősítette tudását, majd továbbadta nekem a fényképezés A-Z-ig, a netes digitális világ és a filmkészítés professzionális rejtelmeit. 2010. Capri 15. Hollywood Filmfesztivál Valerio Massimo Manfredi, első sajtófotós élményem nagy hatással volt rám. Utána nem volt kérdés számomra, mert megtaláltam a helyem a fényképezőgép másik oldalán is. 2014. Párizs a fények városa az első képeskönyvem, riportom, Chateau de Grosbois Le TROT Didier Lacote versenyistálló tulajdonos életmű fotózása egy örök, mesés emlék. 2014-2024. Saint-Tropez kikötője a főhadiszállásom lett 10 éven keresztül. Közvetlenül, sokszor az erkélyemről tudósítottam a Vitorlázó/Voiles-, SailGP-, Futó-, Kerékpárversenyeket, K1 Box Gálát, Bravade Nemzeti Ünnepeket, Porsche Paradise rendezvényeket, Place des Lices petanque játékokat. 2014-2023. Cannes filmfesztiválok számomra olyan volt, mintha főszereplő lettem volna a hollywoodi siker történetekben. Találkozások, megható pillanatok a világsztárokkal Alain Delon, Woodi Alen, Will Smith, Almodovar, Javier Barden Samy Naceri, Catherine Deneuve, Adrien Brody, Nemes Jeles László és még sokan mások. Őszintén mondhatom, hogy üres lett a "Bakancslistám" pedig nem volt rövid. 2015. Monte-Carlo, Monaco Polo Cup, Madleine Couture. Annex Beach divatbemutató. 2016. Tor-Túra Gerebics Sándor rendező werkfilm, fotózás, Magyarország szeretétől dobogott a Pilis erdeje. 2016-2018. Jazzpiknik Paloznak Balaton sajtófotósként Rick Astley, Mario Biondi több nemzetközi és magyar tehetséges zenész. Bangó Margit életmű koncert. 2018-2020. Provence tájai a történetükkel, Valensole levendula mezőinek illatával, a Lac Saint-Croix Verdon mélyén rejlő misztikus történetével a COVID világjárvány kellős közepén egy védőpajzsként éltem át. Bauduen ősrégi falai között megpihentem egy rövid pillanatra a szerelem árnyékában, ahol megtanultam és elfogadtam, hogy a fotózás egy magányos farkas életmód és nem minden az, aminek látszik. 2017. Első Magyar Filmdíj Gála sajtófotós élményem visszarepített a letűnt RETRO magyar divatvilágomba. Egy élmény volt újra találkozni a magyar filmcsillagokkal, sztárokkal. Megható pillanatok lencsevégen az első magyar Oscar Díj "A LÉGY" Rofusz Ferenc rendező, Pataki Ági FABULON a bőre őre, Törőcsik Mari a Körhinta, Andrew Vajna Saint-Tropez első találkozás a yachtján egy közös barátunk Engel Gyurinak és Tóth Enikő színésznő feleségének Tóth Enikő színésznőnek köszönhetően, Nemes-Jeles László A Saul fia Oscar Díjas film alkotója, de én már 2016-ban a Cannes Filmfesztivál nyitónapján megéreztem, hogy ez bizony nagyon "Oscar Awards" gyanús. 2017. Párizs Etienne de Causanne St Germain Művészeti Galériában Breznay Pál festőművész kiállításán a fotóim hitelesítették, hogy a művész a helyszínen alkotta csodálatos műveit. 2020. március 14-én Port de Saint-Tropez, St. Malo Le Francais első vitorlabontása az öbölben. A fedélzetén még senki sem gondolta, hogy másnaptól a #maradjotthon #restalamaison #stayathome átvette az irányítást. Szerencsém volt, maradhattam Saint-Tropezban. Tudósításaim, fotóim, filmjeim a világjárványról , ami ott zajlott a kikötőben, előttem. Ivan Hor magyar származású festőművész barátságom visszavezethető 1984. évre, amikor először léptem rá a Cote d'Azur földjére. Majd letelepedtünk családommal 1990-1994. Saint-Tropez 19. Av. Boulvard de Provence luxus villájában. Ivan Hor (R.I.P 2025.), aki több, mint 50 évet élt azon a tájon, ahol Paul Signac, Henri Sié festőművészek alkottak. Ivan mesés alkotásaival megtelt Viktor fiam szobája, miután egyik sétánk alkalmával meglátta 'IVAN HOR ATELIER' kirakatában a sok humorral, fantáziával a papírhajó remekműveket. 2008. évben közös filmet terveztünk, a témája a kihalt Saint-Tropez képeskönyve volt, Ivan érzékeny művészi lelke már akkor érezte a 2020-ban egyik-napról a másikra kitört világjárványt, ami félelmetesen hasonlított az általa megfestett, rajzolt képeskönyvéhez. A forgatókönyvet megírtuk, de a film várat magára. 2014. évben rendezett Budapesti Kiállítására (Falk Miksa 10. Pintér Galéria) meghívta Párizsban, Saint-Tropezban élő barátját M. Jean Atkatlian kurátort. Ezzel elindult harmadszor is Saint-Tropez kalandokkal teli életem. Ivan Atelierben megtanultam a festészetet, majd az Art Deco News Galéria Saint-Tropez falaira kerültek az alkotásaim. 2021-2022. Saint-Tropez Art Deco News Galéria, elnök, alapító M. Jean Atkatlian (R.I.P 2024.), aki 90. évesen bebizonyította, hogy a művészet sincs korhoz kötve JonOne amerikai Chriestie's alkotásai kiállítása nagy sikert aratott 2022. év szezonjában. Galériavezetőként a francia művészvilágban megtanultam tisztelni az adott pillanatot, mert semmi nem tart örökké. Nem viszünk magunkkal mást, csak az átélt pillanatokat, ha egyszer az nem várat magára... 2024-2025. Málta, Marsaskala varázslatos utazásomkor megtanultam, hogy a szerelmet nem kell keresnem tovább, mert az mindig bennem volt. 2025. március 09-én Wiener Stadthalle D. épületében, a Lenny Kravitz Vienna koncertjén először éreztem életemben, hogy "WE ARE ONE" = "EGYEK VAGYUNK" és a szeretet "LET LOVE RULE" a legfontosabb az életünkben, az ami összetart bennünket és örök! Még ebben az évben átléptem 2025. október 02-án a 7x misztikus számot. Hosszantartó, több országban történő ünneplés már elkezdődött Horvátország Ravni Nada apartment, folytatódott Budapest Verecke Lépcső családi körben és egy gondolat máris Nizza azúrkék tenger hullámai nyaldosták a talpam baráti körben, francia pezsgő koccintás magyar kristálypoharak csendüléssel... fentiek egy piciny szelet az életutamból... szeretettel: Barna 'Inci' Ilona @ilonabarnabiphotonews

p.s... abban biztos voltam, hogy nagy hatással lesz Rám a Lenny Kravitz (amerikai énekes-dalszerző, multiinstrumentalista, zenei producer, színész és rendező) személyes találkozásunk. Mikor meghallottam a hangját váratlanul, ahogy elhaladtam a Wiener Stadthalle mellett, délután fotózás közben, megértettem a rajongásomat, az az erő, tökéletesség, igazi emberi érték, szeretet, nemcsak az egész koncert alatt volt érezhető... Andy Warhol (1928-1987)

Artist, filmmaker, and producer Andrew Warhola Jr., or simply Andy Warhol, was a founding father of the pop art movement. Frank Stella (1936–2024)

A giant of post-war abstract art, Frank Stella (1936–2024) investigated the formal and narrative possibilities of geometry and color and the boundaries between painting and objecthood. Stella was born in Malden, MA in 1936. He attended Phillips Academy Andover, where he studied painting under Patrick Morgan, and Princeton University, where he studied history and painting under Stephen Greene and Willliam Seitz. I’m a self confessed ocean and travel lover. About 9 years ago, I quit my corporate job in sales and marketing, I took the leap and chased a dream. I’ve now been on the tools (of the camera variety) since. I create both photo and video for brands in both travel and lifestyle spaces all over the world. But I’m also known to create for anyone with an interesting project too. From time to time I’ll even share some sponsored stuff here on the gram too. But I’m pretty picky with who I work with. In general, the rule for me is I gotta love the project or think others would really benefit from it if I’m going to share it here. I also run my own print/frame store @oceanfeelsco where people can have a piece of my art for their own space. So far, it’s been one of the most rewarding things I ever did. Knowing people from all over the world, enjoy my art enough to have it on their walls is just insane. I’m also looking to open a gallery in the future where people could come and visit. But more on that another day. I’m a father of 3 beautiful little girls and married to the girl of my dreams. We live in Sydney at the moment, but we love exploring new places and are in the process of changing a few things too. It’s been an absolute blast sharing my art here with you on Instagram and although social media is a wild place, it’s my hope that my work brings you a little peace. Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002)

“I’m following a course that was chosen for me, following a pressing need to show that a woman can work on a monumental scale.” Niki de Saint Phalle “I accidentally stumbled across Niki de Saint Phalle’s exhibition in London, back in 1985. It may have been the commonality in name that drew me in, mixed with my interest in the arts, either way, her style and colourful artworks definitely ‘wowed’ me. Now, revisiting her work and life (online), I was saddened to learn that she passed away in 2002 (aged 72). l had no idea at the time, but this would have made her around 55 when I popped into that gallery. Amusing now, how (as a mere 21 year old then) I had wrongly presumed that the person behind these modernist and intriguing works was much younger.” (Nicky Jury)
